Every check runs live in your browser. Each domain gets a third-party fetch (no-cors) request; the known WebKit 27 domains also get a script request, and are marked "Blocked" only when both fail. The wider ad tech list is not limited to Apple's current blocklist, so you can see whether any of these domains are blocked in your browser today. If the Google GPT control is also blocked, an ad blocker (content blocker or DNS filter) is active and the results are not reliable.
